A couple shares a bit of Christmas cheer at the tree lighting ceremony in Des Moines.
Des Moines got lit for the holidays with the
annual lighting of the Christmas tree last Friday
evening at the Big Catch Plaza in downtown Des Moines. The weather cooperated and Santa
arrived via a big red Chevy. The tree is a 30-foot-tall Douglas fir, and will be lit every evening through the holidays. The event is sponsored by Destination Des Moines.
