Election season is in full swing, and with that, King County Elections has a lot on the calendar! With new voters especially, there are a lot of questions regarding the ballot. Here, you can find opportunities to engage with other voters, get logistical questions answered, and participate in this upcoming election cycle.

Election Day is on Nov. 3, 2026. Mailed ballots will be accepted a week from Election Day. Mailed ballots need to be postmarked by 8 p.m. the week before Nov. 3.

If that is not an option, ballot boxes are available all around the county. King County Elections plans to have 100 ballot boxes installed by the end of the November Election cycle. Ballots can be turned into ballot boxes until 8 p.m. on Election Day. There is a ballot box at Highline College, located next to the S-1 parking lot and the bus station.

Encuentro Comunitario: Elecciones en el Condado de King (or Community Gathering: Elections in King County) will be on Oct. 13, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. It will take place at SeaMar Museum of Chicano/a Latino/a Culture.

King County Elections will be presenting at the 2026 DeafNation Expo in Seattle, at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. It will be on Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. King County Elections will be hosting Skate Night GOTV (Get out the Vote) activities at the El Centro Skate Rink, both on the 17th and 24th of October, from 6:30-11 p.m.

King County will also be hosting an AVU (Accessible Voting Unit) event, in the Downtown Seattle Public Library. That will also be on the 24th of October, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
