The Highline College Bookstore, located on the top floor of Building 8, is a one-stop shop for supplies, merchandise, on-the-go snacks, and of course, books for all of your classes.
Entering the Student Union building one of the first things you’ll notice is the large sign that draws your attention to the Highline College Bookstore, where students are coming in and out with supplies or merchandise that they need for classes or personal use.
But what can the Highline College Bookstore offer you? “We offer Highline themed clothing, merchandise, keychains, umbrellas, snacks/drinks, and books and information based on your classes,” said Naomi, a Highline student and store employee.
If you’re looking for a place that can help you get the resources you need, going to the bookstore might be the right call for you. Need last-minute supplies for your classes? The bookstore’s got them. How about a drink and a bite to eat for a burst of energy to get you through your day? The bookstore’s got you covered. And what about some Highline swag to show off your Thunderbird pride? Yep, the bookstore is the place to go.

“We have paper, pencils, notebooks and that if you forget your lunch or are hungry, you can buy snacks here too,” said Naomi (who asked to be referred to on a first-name-only basis).
The friendly bookstore staff can also look up items for you and make the worrisome to-do list of new students less daunting.
Naomi also gave some insight into the more popular books and classes at the college right now, saying, “The books that are popular right now are Bio 160, Bio 240, and [Bio] 242, seeing as those classes have a lot of students in them right now, and we’re asked about them the most.”
The Highline College Bookstore is a must visit if you find yourself low on supplies, or in need of a last minute school book. But what if you’re taking online classes or can’t make it onto campus? Don’t worry, the bookstore’s website is a convenient option for all of those who are looking for supplies, merchandise, or books online.
