Soccer teams see mixed results

The Highline women’s soccer team played another close game against Centralia with a score of 2-2 on Friday, April 23. 

Centralia took an early lead with Chloe Narolski scoring in the 34th minute with an assist from Talia Washington.

Highline’s Myka Carr tied the game with an unassisted goal at 59 minutes. Andrea Guiton then scored 10 minutes after with an assist from Taylor Nelson, giving Highline the lead at 2-1. 

Nearing the end of the game, Centralia’s Rhiannon Lott scored a goal assisted by Haylee Ward, tying the game at 2-2. 

The Highline women now have a record of 2-1-2. 

The men’s soccer team was supposed to play Bellevue, but the game was a COVID cancellation.  Highline’s next game is Friday, April 30 at Pierce. 

The Lady T-Birds will play at Pierce on Friday, April 30. Highline beat the Raiders 5-0 in their previous meeting.
