The Women’s Program  is a program helps primarily low-income students who need support services and guidance to achieve academic and educational goals through services and provided resources.

The sale is operated via the services of Soroptomists International, a worldwide organization that works to support a variety of causes.

“The Soroptimists International Seattle South chapter have been longtime supporters of ours,” said Callie Moothart of the Women’s Program. “This year they were unable to host their normal fundraising events, so have pivoted to selling beautiful wreaths and garlands.”

The wreaths are 24-inch hand crafted and freshly made, Moothart said. They are mixed evergreens, including Western cedar, blue-berried juniper, noble and silver fir. They will be selling for $25 each or $20 for orders of 25 or more.

The garlands are three different lengths. Depending on the size of the garland, the prices will be different: 25 feet for $29, 50 feet for $53 and 75 feet for $77.

Many benefits will come from buying garlands and the wreaths from the Women’s Program .

“Emergency funding is available to students who need financial assistance for an emergency that might prevent them for continuing in school,” Moothart said.

But the fundraiser won’t only support the Women’s Program itself.

Wreath pickup will be in Burien on Dec. 3.

The deadline to order wreath and garlands is Nov. 29. To order the wreaths or garlands visit https://siss-740201.square.site/
