Highline women’s tennis squad started the season off by spanking arch-rival Bellevue, 9-0.
Bellevue, which regularly recruits players from around the world, couldn’t field a full squad for the match thanks to pandemic travel restrictions.
This was the first match of five for the Lady Thunderbirds in their shortened season.
The women’s tennis team hopes to be back on the court by spring.
They’ve already started training, one of the only Highline teams to be able to practice.
