Applications for Highline’s COVID-19 Financial Relief Fund are opening April 9 for Spring Quarter.
Students who have experienced increased expenses or financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic may be eligible, and are encouraged to apply for award. Students must be enrolled for Spring Quarter in order to be eligible.
Undocumented students may be eligible to receive funds, but international students currently are not.
A maximum sum of up to $900 may be awarded to qualified students, however students are asked to only request as much money as is needed. These funds can be spent on food, rent, tuition and fees, child and health care, or other education-related expenses.
Applications for the Relief Fund will open at 8 a.m. on April 9, and close at 5 p.m. on April 15. After review, emails will be sent out to applicants every Friday beginning April 23 informing them of their funding status.
