Housing facilities at Highline: Living closer to school is easier for most students

Highline students can find various resources to live on campus as they work towards securing their degree.

Not only does living on campus provide a sense of community with the college, but it also gives students a chance to develop relationships with their peers.

Moreover, living on campus is often more convenient as it is closer to classes on campus and other resources, such as places to study, the library, and student centers.

“When I came here I was not even thinking about this environment and help from the college for international students. But, reaching here I felt very good and I am doing my studies consistently with the help of my peers,” Highline student Maria Quinert said.

Another student, Jian Walmore, said, “I love all the amenities in the housing campus, but I love the rooftop areas a lot. Because they provide a view of the mountain and water, which is so soothing and peaceful.”

Highline’s campus housing offers both two and four bedroom apartments that are well-equipped with amenities.

Apartments (with varied floor plans) include the following:

  • Rooftop overlooking water and mountains

International students may also find that living on campus is suitable, and maybe even preferred, for their living arrangement.
