There can’t be too much of a good thing! The National Poetry Month Committee and Arcturus are operating at full steam in order to get students recognized.
National Poetry Month (deadline Feb. 9) and Arcturus (deadline Feb. 14) will be announcing their respective winners as National Poetry Month approaches, and there is still time to get involved!
For the NPM deadline, follow this link to see the contest rules and throw your hat in the ring before Feb. 9 at 4 p.m., the last call for any poetry submissions from current students at Highline who are interested in winning the $200 grand prize.
Arcturus Literary Magazine
Reflections of Vulnerability by Arcturus.
As for Arcturus, follow this link to get the chance to be included in their next publication, along with the art and literature from the best of the best that Highline has to offer. Again, the deadline for consideration is Feb. 14.
Both of these opportunities are for Highline students, no matter the experience, to take part in a celebration of both seasoned and amateur poets.
