Jeffery Epstein. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that name is known worldwide for infamous reasons. Epstein’s crimes run deep and they are horrific, to put it mildly. I will spare the details as they’re honestly depressing, but I won’t be holding back on my criticism either. Jeffery Epstein was a prolific criminal and committed outright disgusting and heinous acts.
After his indictment, Epstein went to prison and supposedly died by suicide. Regardless of whether that’s true or not, Epstein’s death caused a major commotion. With the man dead, no amount of interrogation could get the truth out of him. A dead man tells no tales after all. However, word of the “Epstein files” spread like a wildfire, and Trump was caught in the middle.

Trump is a weird president. Not only is he a dedicated crook (like Nixon), but he’s a huge personality that constantly attracts attention. Mind you he’s not a likable personality by any means, but he succeeds at what he does; drawing eyes on him. It’s hard to see Trump as some kind of mastermind, because he’s not. Trump is an actor, and he’s performing a gripping show.
This is anything but praise for those of you who may be confused. I find Trump’s clown act annoying at best, and exhausting at worst. However, Trump is by no means a bit player in a star studded show. He’s a cog in the machine, and that machine was oiled by criminals like Epstein.
On September 23 of this year, a mystery artist created and propped up a statue of Epstein and Trump frolicking like friends (which they were) and put it up in front of the National Mall. It was removed the same day, though this is no surprise.
Just the week before, photos of Trump and Epstein were projected on the walls of Windsor Castle just in time for Trump’s visit. The connection between these two can’t be denied, yet Trump’s administration continues anyway. It would be funny, if it weren’t sickening to the core.
Mind you, Trump also wrote a disgusting letter to Epstein in 2004. Imagine being pen pals with Epstein. It’s mind boggling how dismissive of their relationship people are. Trump has a list of crimes to his name, yet he was re-elected in the 2024 election. It’s like living in a dystopian fiction novel, but there’s nothing fictional about Trump’s shady activity.
What’s really interesting is the cognitive dissonance that Trump supporters show. While many voted for Trump for all sorts of reasons, a large section of them demand the Trump administration release the “Epstein List” and dislike Trump’s hesitation on revealing it. Mind you that before his re-election, Trump was outed for his past relationship with Epstein.
I can’t help but ask, what the heck is going on? How do we live in a country that allows convicted criminals, sex offenders, and raging bigots to not only lead, but brag about their crimes while threatening other nations? How are things this messed up?

Let me rephrase it: Why is someone who was best friends with a serial sex offender also the leader of our nation? If some guy down the street was best friends with a murderer, we wouldn’t trust him with anything. So why is Trump different? Here’s the answer: money.
Trump has money. His friends and colleagues have money. Money makes the world go round, and all that money is used to protect wealthy criminals while we barely make it paycheck to paycheck. The “Epstein files” are being withheld because most of the people on it have the money to bribe the people in charge into hiding it.
The “Epstein files” will never be released until everyone who it incriminates isn’t around to face the consequences. That’s why that statue of Trump and Epstein was erected on the 23rd. That’s why when Trump visited the UK, Led By Donkeys projected images of Trump and Epstein palling around on Windsor Castle.
The government (which Trump has major influence on right now, by the way) will never release those files, so we might as well make them uncomfortable. The Trump Administration can deny the connection all they want, but the pictures say a thousand words, and Trump’s letter says a thousand more.
