Thanksgiving is coming up, which means the season of stuffing has arrived! Highline College has TWO Friendsgiving events happening this week: MESA Potluck and Highline Clubs Friendsgiving.
MESA, a resource program for underrepresented STEM students, invites the entire college out for a potluck. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish of their own, whether homemade or store bought, traditional thanksgiving plates or international, the goal is to bring in a variety of flavors for the students to share and indulge in.
MESA Potluck will be held this Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the MESA center (Building 25, room 633), that’s on the sixth floor of the Highline library.
The Highline Clubs Association will be holding a Friendsgiving this Thursday, inviting all students for food, games, music, art, and prizes. The event will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Building 2 conference center, on the south side of campus.
Both events are open to all students.
