This year on Oct. 31, a Halloween party called Witches’ Night Out will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., in Building 8 (first floor), for all members of the Highline community.
Various activities will be available for participation during the party, such as dances, games, cookie decorating, and tarot card readings. The games will be changing throughout the party for the most amount of fun and entertainment. There will be a chance to win prizes at two different activities: pumpkin carving and the costume contest.
The prizes include tickets to various places including: Seattle Donut Tour, Seattle Underground Tour, Tacoma Comedy Club, and the Emerald Downs Race Track. Other prizes will also be given.
For the pumpkin carving activity, attendees will need to reserve a pumpkin in advance if they want to participate. There will be some pumpkins available for attendees to get if they haven’t made a reservation, although these are given based on who arrives first.
A pumpkin can be reserved by scaning the QR code posted below, or on Witches’ Night Out posters. These posters can be found and scanned on Highline campus.
The Halloween costume contest is at 7:30 p.m. and the only step required for people to join is to sign up.
While there is not a defined dress code for what Halloween costumes attendees are allowed to wear at the party, Highline college does recommend an article for attendees to read for guidance on costumes to wear.
