Highline MaST is hosting a literature event called Sea Critter story time, online for toddlers 3 years and older
“Sea Critter Story Time is a partnership with the Woodmont Library as an extra special toddler (ages 3+) story time once a month,” said Katy Kachmarik said, outreach coordinator for the MaST center.

The Counseling Center doesn’t just provide for people who are sad, depressed, or anxious, said Dr. Gloria Koepping, one of the counselors. Available counselors also assist with career decision making, learning disabilities, academic probation and more.
Thriving with mental health can be a challenge. Highline students and faculty have created a group to discuss their experiences with mental health and the overcoming the challenges.
Active Minds is a student-run club that provides a forum to bring awareness and support in discussions about mental health.
Highline’s library is trying to support students even while campus is closed due to the pandemic.
Library staff are working online, with a handful actually in the library to gather books requested by students. Students can request books through the library, then pick them up during the Information Technoloy Services equipment Drive through hours.
Highline’s Personal Fitness Trainer program is managing to go the distance.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown of campus, the program is continuing to offer classes for students hoping to become fitness trainers. Program Manager Tim Vagen said they are offering classes online and virtually to help students complete their degrees.
