30th Avenue South will be closed at its intersection with Kent Des Moines Road in Kent starting as early as Friday, Feb. 5. The right lane of Kent Des Moines road will also be closed near this area. 

The roads will remain closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Feb. 22. 

Trees will be cleared from the area during this time to make way for future construction of the Sound Transit Federal Way Link Extension. The Link Extension is planned to open in 2024.More information on the Link Extension project can be found at www.soundtransit.org/fwlink.
