“Life With an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout” (January 2022, OLM Team Yoshioka) is a romantic comedy anime with a really long name.
The show’s plot follows Hinata Tachibana (voiced by Kent Itō as a male and by Mao Ichimichi as a female) being turned into a girl after making a wish while drunk and Jingūji Tsukasa (Satoshi Hino) just wishing to get his friend home safely after a hard night of drinking. While on the way home, both of them end up being transported to another world as heroes.
Jingūji is very reliable and appealing when he and Tachibana were growing up, always being fawned over by girls but that causes Jingūji to grow disdain towards them, seeing Tachibana as an oasis of sorts.

As for Tachibana, before he was turned into a girl, he was as average as can be, and since he spent most of his time near Jingūji, a lot of his crushes ended up falling for his best friend instead.
The show has great comedic timing. It knows how to balance its humor with more serious story elements, but as a romcom, it’s skewed mostly towards humor.
The art style of the show is very goofy, but when it wants to emphasize something important, it gets really detailed, and adds petals and all sorts of things to make the scene appealing.
The background of the show is as expected of more modern anime, with nothing to really complain about. But there are a few highlights, like when the two anger a goddess and she turns the sky a deep purple.
The character designs do a good job making the characters stand out from each other. A good example is Tachibana being a blonde after being transported to another world whereas Jingūji stays the same being his dark hair and suit.
Although there is much to praise this show on, it has a couple of flaws.
The long name is an unfortunate staple that has been sweeping across anime recently. It wouldn’t be surprising if all anime names eventually become as long as a paragraph.

The show’s name isn’t too long but it’s still long enough to warrant not writing it several times or saying it several times in conversation.
As for design aspects, Tachibana has plenty of different outfits, while most other characters, except for a select few, wear only one outfit. It’s like this show was made with only Tachibana in mind whereas Jingūji was made a main character last minute, so they didn’t have as much time to add unique outfits.
The show’s music, while not bad, has a problem being repetitive. And doesn’t do much to differentiate itself from other music in the genre.
The humor, even though it’s a driving factor of the show, can get quite stale if an audience isn’t a fan of repetitive storytelling. Though sometimes it does throw in a clever twist on the usual formula and hits the viewer with something unexpected.
Another problem is that even though this show isn’t ecchi (being of lewd or sexual nature) there are some scenes that get pretty close.
This anime is a good watch for an audience looking for a comedy while watching two best friends struggle not to fall in love with each other. However, the lewd humor throws off some viewers.
