“I was really pleased with how the team played this week. It was a long day of travel to and from Oregon and it was an exceptionally hot day, but the TBirds were focused and took care of business,” said Head Coach Laura Rosa.
Learning from their past experiences, the T-Bird ladies scored satisfying records for this week.

The results are as follows: Kinsey Lockhart vs. Alexa Hine with a record of 6-4, 6-0; Riley Cordova vs. Kassandra Hernandez with a record of 6-4, 6-1; Princess Ventura vs. Erin Hawker with a record of 6-2, 6-3 and Vania Moreno-Colin vs. Michelle Torres with a record of 6-0, 6-1.
The double teams did an excellent job as well with Denali Terry/Jocelynn Nguyen besting Erin Hawker/Michelle Torres with a record of 8-2.
“Riley Cordova and Princess Ventura both had great singles matches. Both were patient and constructed points well. I was also very impressed with our #2 doubles team of Denali Terry and Jocelynn Nguyen who simply dominated on their court,” said Head Coach Rosa.

Doubles players Jocelynn Nguyen and Denali Terry low-fiving after a point.
In preparation for a rematch at Bellevue College, they will practice both indoors and outdoors to sharpen their skills, she said.
“I think this next match will be close on all courts. We are going to be ready and if we play with discipline then the correct outcome will happen,” said Head Coach Rosa.
