Burien Pride returns for three days of festivities

The Burien Pride festival kicks off Friday, June 3 and continues throughout the weekend bringing pride back to Burien after a two-year COVID hiatus. 

The celebration is organized by the non-profit Discover Burien and sponsored by Burien-area businesses. Burien Pride 2022 will take place in the Town Square Park, 480 SW 152nd St., Burien. 

The first event will take place Friday night on Sixth Avenue, a street dance party featuring a DJ starts at 5 and runs until 11 p.m. 

Saturday morning launches the main event of the weekend, a free all-ages festival featuring local vendors, music and entertainment until 5 p.m., as well as a beer and wine garden which is open until 11 p.m.  

An estimated 60 local vendors merchandising art, food, jewelry and more will be at the festival, and local nearby businesses will be open as well. 

Grab your tickets here for Sunday morning’s drag queen bingo breakfast which starts at 10 a.m.
