Highline offering free healthcare careers program for summer

Highline will be hosting a free “Healthcare Exploration for Youth” program during summer 2021. 

In partnership with the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County, the program is on offer to low-income persons ages 16 through 24.

It will take the form of an eight-week online course providing information about various healthcare careers. Participants will also be able to earn certification in first aid and CPR. 

The program will begin July 6, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Screening applications can be filled out for potential enrollment at https://www.seakingwdc.org/hey-cohort.
